This method is helpful for those experiences that are difficult to experience or express with words. The media used isn't limited to traditional art making materials but also incorporate a variety of different tools and media.
Compassionate Inquiry (CI) was developed by Dr. Gabor Mate and Sat Dharam (ND). It utilizes a combination of questions, somatic awareness (bodily sensations) and parts work (Internal Family Systems) to support the client to gain self-awareness, release and relief from their present life difficulties.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) was developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. This approach works with the idea that we all have different parts or energies within us that influence our decision making, feelings and thoughts. Research has shown the effectiveness in healing from difficulties we face by working with, learning about and understanding our different parts.
Betrayal trauma healing focuses on healing from infidelity (i.e., affairs). This differs from traditional Marriage and Family Therapy, as betrayal trauma is very different from other relationship issues. This approach supports the betrayed spouse to understand the impact of infidelity and learn different ways to heal from this experience.
Gottman Relationship Healing (Gottman) approach encompasses research-based methods and interventions that support clients to learn, understand and implement effective ways of creating, healing towards and maintaining satisfying relationships with others, especially the romantic relationship.
Coaching revolves around working with the goals that are identified by the client. It is present and future oriented. Conversations focus on presenting issues or concerns and finding effective tools or interventions to support the client's goals.
